Meet Amy
I, like most people, have many different facets to my life. I am a wife and mother of three fantastic girls. I am a daughter to wonderful parents who have been happily married since 1968. I am a sister to two brothers who have amazing families and successful careers.
I am also a licensed marriage and family therapist practicing in Fairfield County since 1996. I graduated from Keene State College with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in chemical dependency. I continued my studies at Fairfield University and graduated with a Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy.
I have lead or spoken at several groups in town focused on a variety of issues including, among others, anger management, couples communication, healthy functioning families and parenting skills.
I believe that my client's needs are of the utmost importance. While psychotherapy is most productive in a face to face setting, I recognize that my clients lead lives, like my own, filled with competing priorities, over-booked schedules and not enough hours in the day. As such, I am available to my clients even when we are not physically together and frequently interact with my clients by text, email and phone.
